I have decided to design my own icons. These are some of my creations so far. This is my first time creating icons or any art works so go easy on me will ya :P
I am creating a tutorial series on how to create an advanced minimap in Unity3D. This system is more robust and does not require a duplicate terrain which costs more memory and not very elegant.
The new system makes use of AssetBundles and RenderTextures so I requires UnityPro.
Forget about the action bar and portrait frames they will be gone in couple of weeks. New Actionbar and Portrait system will be back soon!
(Note: portrait images displayed in this screenshot are not my own creation those belongs to the creators of South Park I am merely using them as placeholders)
This is tutorial is on how to create a basic minimap with Unity3D. If you have unity trial you can follow the tutorial until I start dealing with shaders to create a rounded minimap. If you want a squared minimap you don't have to have Unity Pro. I will post more tutorials on various topics soon!
Hello all! It has been a really really (add another really) (one more?) long time since my last appearance :P Nope, I have not quit the project. I have been busy with school and work and also I started playing Guild Wars 2 (high five if you are one of us) so the progress has been really slow. However, I have made some great improvements to the GUI and tons of optimizations to the server and considering switching from RavenDB to SQL. There has been much improvements (most of which you cannot see without playing the game :P) but noticable GUI improvements (Ok, I will stop saying 'improvements' until you guys comment on the look :P). New minimap(fast, improved and no longer uses duplicate terrain instead map planes). I will make a tutorial on how to build an advanced minimap like mine soon (hang in there!). So, hello, I am back!
I am freelancer who created this project 3 years ago during my spare time. I have been able to get the project to a playable state. I have made the project open source in hopes that it would be useful to developers alike since I stopped working on this project to focus on my work. After 3 years I have decided to continue the work and release the code to the public.
