I am creating a tutorial series on how to create an advanced minimap in Unity3D. If you have watched my previous tutorial on how to create a basic minimap, this will be different from what I showed. No longer you need to duplicate the terrain, which was costly for a big scale game and I will be offering an alternative approach to this issue.

This is tutorial is on how to create a basic minimap with Unity3D. If you have unity trial you can follow the tutorial until I start dealing with shaders to create a rounded minimap. If you want a squared minimap you don't have to have Unity Pro. I will post more tutorials on various topics soon!
